I am desperate to speed up recovery of my wrist (its been 6 months since i sprained it and it still aches) and I have read about how beneficial acupuncture is but I am still skeptical. I only want answers from people who have used acupuncture before and preferably of a non-Chinese decent as they maybe be biased towards the Chinese developed remedy.

Please give details about a time you used acupuncture for a similar injury (details might include number of sessions, how long it took etc), include scientific evidence if any.
